About Lockwood Holmes Sr:

Lockwood Holmes, Sr. is the Chairman of Holmes Equity and a lifelong entrepreneur whose passion is building businesses that prioritize people, servant leadership, and lasting impact. A Jacksonville native and son of an entrepreneur, Lockwood grew Holmes Lumber into Northeast Florida’s largest lumber company before selling it in 1999. He went on to found Holmes Equity, a firm with over a dozen portfolio companies marked by integrity, excellence, and faith. Beyond business, Lockwood has devoted himself to mentoring leaders, supporting ministries, and serving his community and church.
